Detailed Procedure

1. Find 7 boys and 7 girls
2. Choose 10 random number and write them in a row on a blank sheet of paper.
3. make a chart to record your data.
4. choose a gender you want to do first. after yo do one gender you have to do the other.
5. Record

Results

I did this experiment only once but I found out Girls have better memory than boys. Boys memorized 2.42 numbers on average. Girls memorized 3.00 on average. The girls have better memory by .58.

Conclusion

Does gender affect memory? My hypothesis states that it doesn't, but I've concluded that gender does affect memory, but only by a little. The average numbers memorized by boys were 2.42 numbers and girls memorized 3.00 numbers.

Discussion

I was able to find a answer to my experiment. One trend I found during my experiment is that girls have better memory than boys. My experiment did not have any problems. There is not a stong relationship between the two varibles. Some ways I could impove this experiment is to do more stuff in the beginning so i didnt have to rush at the end.

Abstract

Does Gender Effect Memory? In my experiment I tried to find out. First I got seven girls and seven boys and tested them only once each. To test them I listed 10 numbers in a row a told every single girl in boy of the fourteen I chose and then record how many numbers they have memorized. Then I added up all the numbers memorized then divided it by the number of that gender. After you do one gender you do the same to the other. The results I got was that girls do have a better memory.
